The Lutsen Jr. Alpine Team is the co-sponsor of North House Folk School's famous Great Ski & Gear Swap. This is one of the main fundraising opportunities for our team and volunteers are needed. Bring your outdoor equipment to sell or get in on some great bargains and buy. Backcountry skis to winter canvas tents. Ice skates to kites. Winter boots to down jackets. All are welcome.

Event Day - Volunteers needed:

• 8:30-12:00pm: 4 people for set-up and start of sale, help staff the sale, and clean up at the end. Contact Molly to volunteer.

Item Drop Off: 

• Saturday, November 23 beginning at 9.  Gear cannot be dropped of prior to the day of the event.

• Bring items to the Commons area. A North House staff member will be on hand to take your items. Registration forms are available to print now and will also be available on-site that morning. Please bring items already tagged, with your seller sheet filled out.

Information for sellers:

• All items to be sold MUST be dropped off during the morning of the event.

• Items must be tagged and a seller sheet filled out completely in order for us to accept items. 

• Sellers who would like their items back that did not sell after the gear swap must be present between 11:30-12:00pm on the day of the sale to collect their unsold items. Any leftover items not picked up by sellers will become donations and will be given away or donated to local re-sale shops. 

• Sellers will be mailed a check within 2 weeks of the sale date with their portion of the income from their items. Checks will be mailed to the address provided on each seller’s sheet.
